Newstead Open Studios art trail is a locally-inspired and crafted event, held annually since 2015 and based in and around Newstead. This year we are a part of @arts_open_meet_the_makers .
The dates for this year’s event are: 7, 8, 9 & 14, 15 March, 10am-5pm. .
See the works of printmakers, illustrators, painters, photographers, jewellers, glass artists, sculptors and potters in their own studios.

This year we have 17 artists in 11 studios: Andrew Kimpton, Angie Izard, Belinda Prest, Carol de Graauw, Chris Johnston, Chrisanne Blennerhassett, David Golightly, Diane Thompson, Ken Killeen, Photographers of the Goldfields, Prue McAdam Richard Sullivan, Roger McKindley, Sarah Koschak, Selina Wilson, Trefor Prest and Wendy Dwyer.

There will be plenty of beautiful and diverse art for sale at each studio, you might even make a purchase or two. Visiting a studio is special; come inside, look around, and ask questions and we’ll happily share a story or two about what we make and why. It’s a feast for the senses.

If you visit six studios or more you will go into a draw to win a selection of unique handmade pieces from Newstead Open Studio artists. Prize drawn 29 March. For details ask at the first studio you visit.
