Sarah Koschak

CeramicsSarah

Sarah Koschak creates functional wheel-thrown porcelain ceramics, bringing handcrafted elegance to everyday life. Sarah says objects that are special to us create ritual and reverence by cradling our memories and stories and reminding us of the important people and moments in our lives. Whether setting a table for dinner, elevating your morning cuppa, or giving a gift to a much-loved friend, handmade ceramics make life beautiful.

Functionality is at the core of Sarah’s work and to prompt reflection she asks: “How does the cup feel when you bring it to your lips?”, “Does each piece feel balanced in the hand?”, “How will it look on the table?”, “How do multiple pieces fit together; do they belong?”
