Honor is an artist, drawing teacher and co-founder of Draw Closer, a tour company that seeks to connect people more deeply with their environment through drawing. Honor lights up when speaking about the profound benefits drawing can have for anyone, and she particularly loves drawings that reveal the thinking and making processes of the artist. Her own work is mainly observational, using the act of striving to represent the visible world as a way to shake out the more interesting visual byproducts of human endeavour. The textures of correction, erasure and accident are the secret sauce in her richly-rendered drawings.
